I am a marketing and communications professional with over 30 years of experience in the field. Most recently, I served as the Senior Director of Public Relations and Integrated Marketing at The Florida Aquarium, where I led all aspects of marketing and communications, including brand strategy, multi-channel marketing management, content development, leisure sales, and event execution, as well as managing external creative partnerships. Our team consistently delivered results-driven marketing strategies to promote brand awareness, visitation, and conservation impact.
Throughout my career, I have continued to hone my expertise in brand management, content creation, multi-channel marketing, media relations, project management, public relations, social media, strategic planning, and team leadership.
Prior to joining The Florida Aquarium, I held the position of Senior Director of Marketing at Mystic Aquarium in Mystic, CT. Here, I successfully increased visitation and engagement through various online digital channels, including the website, social media platforms, email marketing, a mobile app, SEO, display advertising, and online marketplaces, as well as offline channels such as direct mail, print media, television, radio, and events. Working within the External Relations department, I contributed to the overall organization, expanding my responsibilities from public and media relations to include all aspects of Marketing as well as Membership and Guest Services.
As a freelancer, I leverage my experience and passion for stock car racing to elevate the profile of drivers, teams, and related businesses.
